If you know me, you know I'm a hungry girl. I freak out a little if I don't have a snack with me for a 5 minute car ride. Thankfully, Flagstaff is full of delicious options (if I wasn't such a homebody I'd be in trouble!) There's no doubt if you're ever visiting this little mountain town, you're sure to find something tasty.
Here's my votes on where to eat in Flagstaff:
The Toasted Owl is a must visit for breakfast or lunch. The best part? Their spacious restaurant is packed with funky, rustic owl decorations and vintage, mismatched home goods. Plus, they have outdoor seating for four-legged friends! When I'm there, you'll almost always catch me getting the breakfast tacos (drool).
Himalayan Grill on Route 66 is has the best all-you-can-eat lunch buffet in town! They serve delicious Indian, Nepalese, and Tibetan food. So flavorful and a lot of it isn't too spicy for a wimp like me.
Karma Sushi basically owns the title of best sushi in Flagstaff (no really, like 9 years in a row!) Everything I've had there is great, but they have an amazing bento box lunch that I really love, available in hot or cold versions with plenty of food. They're located in the heart of downtown Flagstaff + have a great happy hour!
Flagstaff is getting more and more attention as a "craft beer city." You can even take guided brewery tours around town for the full experience! Mother Road Brewing Company is one of the big hitters, maybe you've seen their beer in your local grocery store! They have an ideal location downtown and a cool taproom. I'm a lightweight, but when I indulge I order the Tower Station IPA or the Kolsch.
Firecreek Coffee Co. serves up delicious cafe goods right on Historic Route 66 in downtown Flagstaff. Their space is amazing! Firecreek hosts art shows and live music often. When I'm there, I order the decaf latte with coconut milk and local honey.
There are so many more awesome spots to check out! Honorable mentions: La Santisima for Mexican, and of course the beloved NiMarco's for pizza.
